Polyfloral, raw, unfiltered. Foraged by the native Caucasian bee at 1,800 m, harvested by hand once a year.

Çavdarlı, Şavşat

Between the Karchal and Yalnızçam mountains of Artvin — northeast Türkiye, where the Caucasus meets the Black Sea.


The Bee

Native Caucasian Bee

Apis mellifera caucasica — longest proboscis of any honeybee, 7.4 mm. Reaches what others cannot.


Harvest

Once a year

Late August. No heating, no filtration, no blending. Limited to 900 jars per season.
